I felt that a lot was covered during the 50min session and I enjoyed the experience overall, finding it very useful and insightful. The instructions about the next steps for my treatment following diagnosis were clear and, Dr Tambimuttu always checked if I needed further clarification/understood what he was explaining.
Overall, the session made me feel a lot more secure in how I will be cared for following my diagnosis, and what my plan is to manage my condition. I did not have this beforehand and really appreciate the confidence I have gained from the conversation I had with Dr Tambimuttu. I hope I will be able to speak with him again in future follow up appointments.

Dr Tambimuttu came to our appointment fully prepared, meaning I didn't have to go over anything I had already mentioned in my self-assessment, which I was relieved about and meant we had more time to dig a little deeper.
He was very kind and helpful, and talked me through all the treatment options and what both he and I should do next in order to progress.
I felt that he listened to my challenges and experiences without judging and, when recommending next steps, he seemed to recognise that some things are not so simple for people with disorders such as ADHD.

Dr Neel Tambimuttu went above and beyond what would normally be required to make sure that my appointment could still continue despite unforseen technical difficulties with the platform's video conferencing, and I can't thank him enough for that as it really demonstrated to me that he understood how important the appointment was to me. During the appointment he was kind and compassionate and made me feel like I was being listened too. He appeared to be very professional, and I could tell that he was very passionate and knowledgable about the subject that I had consulted him on. He made sure that I understood everything clearly, and proposed a treatment plan that I was pleased with. He even took the time to suggest other sources of help that I could access. I would recommend him to others as their psychiatrist of choice.
